A Record of Teaching Service is used to record each day of service in a school where you have served fewer than 20 days in total. This enables short periods of relevant service to be credited towards meeting probationary requirements.
You should submit your Record of Teaching Service form to us on a regular basis. We recommend that you retain a copy of the form for your own records (you must submit the original to GTC Scotland).
Please note: for periods of teaching service amounting to more than 20 days an Interim Report should be submitted either at the end of your teaching within the school or at the end of each term if you are employed on a contract.
