Teaching service
All provisionally registered teachers who are admitted to the Register from 1 August 2010 must gain full registration in their registered subject.
On the Flexible Route:
- a minimum of 55% of your timetable must be in your registration category
- this can be topped up with 45% of your timetable in any other category
- 55% of your timetable must be in your category in order for this service to be counted towards the registration category requirement. Otherwise it is counted as "other" category service
- you must gain full registration in your registration category (main subject) before service will be credited in any other subject
If you were admitted to the Register prior to 1 August 2010, any service undertaken from then onwards will be credited in line with these rules.
