Timetable

There are different timetables for primary and secondary school probationers.

The timetable has been developed to automatically calculate classroom contact time only (time when you have sole teaching responsibility for your pupils).

Your timetable must not fall below 0.55 (12 hours and 23 minutes) of a full teacher's timetable, or exceed 0.7 (15 hours and 45 minutes). Any probationer who is not teaching between 0.55 and 0.7 of a timetable will not be eligible for Full Registration.

If a timetable shows more or less than the stipulated percentage of classroom contact time you will not be able to submit it for sign off. In this instance, please discuss this with your supporter, principal teacher, headteacher, local authority Probation Manager or contact the Professional Learning and Development Department.
